4-Ingredient Guacamole Recipe
This 4-Ingredient Guacamole Recipe is simple, easy, and healthy. It makes a great low carb or keto appetizer or snack served with raw veggies. It is also tasty served with tortilla chips or loaded on tacos or burrito bowls. Best part? It only takes a few minutes to throw together.

- 3 ripe avocados peeled and pitted
- ⅓ cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 limes juiced
- ¾ teaspoon salt
Review all recipe notes and instructions before beginning.
In a medium bowl, use a fork to mash the avocados, lime juice, and salt as much (or as little as desired).
Fold in the red onion using a spoon.
Red Onion: Swap for white or yellow onion.
Refrigerator: Store leftover guacamole in an airtight container or covered tightly with plastic wrap for 1-2 days. It will likely turn brown, but it is still safe to eat 1-2 days after making.
Dice the onion finely. I recommend dicing the onion (or any vegetable you are adding to the guacamole) finely so that there are not large onion pieces in the dip. Larger pieces can be overpowering.
