Ingredients

Graham Cracker Crust

  • 2 Tablespoons salted butter
  • 4 graham crackers
  • 2 Tablespoons packed light brown sugar

Filling

  • 4 mini Hershey's chocolate bars
  • 2 heaping Tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips*
  • 1 heaping cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, unless you're using an air fryer. Melt the butter either in a small saucepan over medium-low heat or in the microwave, using 5-second increments and watching closely to avoid burning.
    2 Tablespoons salted butter
  • Crush the graham crackers until they are completely fine crumbs. You can do this by placing them in a sealed plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin, or by using a food processor.
    4 graham crackers
  • In a small bowl, mix together the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and brown sugar.
2 Tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • Divide the graham cracker mixture evenly between two 5-inch pie pans.
  • Press the graham cracker crumbs firmly around the sides and bottom of each pan to form a pie crust.
  • Break the Hershey’s chocolate bars into pieces and distribute them evenly into each pie crust.
    4 mini Hershey's chocolate bars
  • Sprinkle about 1 Tablespoon of chocolate chips into each pie.
2 heaping Tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips*
  • Divide the marshmallows between the two pies, gently pressing them down into the chocolate layers.
    1 heaping cup mini marshmallows
  • If using an air fryer, place the pies in the air fryer basket. Otherwise, place them on a baking sheet.
  • Air fry at 330 degrees Fahrenheit for 4-5 minutes, or bake in the preheated oven for 10-11 minutes, until the marshmallows are toasted and golden brown.

Notes

  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: I like to use these to balance out the sweetness of the Hershey’s bars. However, this is an optional inclusion. You can just use Hershey's bars if you prefer sweeter mini smores pies.
  • Watch the marshmallows so they don’t burn. When making these mini s'mores pies, it's essential to keep an eye on them in the oven or air fryer. They cook quickly, so check on them every few minutes to ensure the topping isn't burned. Follow the above mini pies with mini marshmallows instructions for the best results.
  • Serve warm. I recommend serving these mini s’mores pies with graham cracker crust warm to enjoy the ooey-gooey filling. However, I would still let them cool for 1-2 minutes so they don't burn your tongue/mouth.
  • Use different types of candies or chocolates—You can use other types of chocolate if you prefer when making this mini s’mores pie recipe. White chocolate, butterscotch, or milk chocolate chips will also work. Reese's peanut butter cups are also delicious in these mini pies as a replacement for Hershey's.
  • Top with nuts – For a bit of a crunchy texture, add crushed/chopped nuts to the top of each mini smores pie. Any nut will work for this variation, including walnuts and pecans.
  • Add crushed Oreos – If you still want a crunchy topping but don't enjoy nuts, you can use crushed Oreos instead. Add them to this mini s’mores pie air fryer recipe right after you take them out of the oven.
