Baked Homemade Lime Healthy Tortilla Chips

These Baked Homemade Lime Healthy Tortilla Chips will satisfy all of your salty snack cravings. They are so easy to make and you probably have all of the ingredients in your pantry right now. The hint of lime and flaky sea salt make them irresistible.

Ingredients

  • ½ lime juiced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° and generously grease a large baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice and olive oil.
  • Brush each tortilla with the lime oil mixture, coating them completely.
  • Stack the tortillas and cut them in half. Cut each half into thirds creating small triangles.
  • Make the lime salt by mixing together the zest and the salt.
  • Place the chips in a single layer on the baking sheet and sprinkle about half of the salt on before the chips go in the oven.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden.

Notes

Be sure to use all of the oil mixture so that the tortillas are well coated.
The chips will continue to harden as they cool.
