Ingredients

Biscuit Topping

  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter, melted

Blueberries

  • 2-3 cups frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar*
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
½ cup all purpose flour, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Stir the melted butter into the flour mixture. It should have a similar consistency to cookie dough.
    4 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • In a separate bowl, combine the blueberries, brown sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and cinnamon.
2-3 cups frozen or fresh blueberries, 2 Tablespoons brown sugar*, ½ teaspoon cornstarch, ¼ teaspoon vanilla, 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pour the blueberry mixture into a lightly greased 7-inch baking dish or air fryer cake barrel. (Alternative: Use 4 7-ounce ramekins.)
  • Crumble the topping over the blueberries.
  • Air fry at 310 degrees for about 30-35 minutes or until heated through and golden. (For 7-ounce ramekins, air fryer for 19-21 minutes at 320 degrees.) Check the cobbler after 10-12 minutes and cover it with foil so the top does not brown too much.

Notes

  • Brown Sugar: White sugar works equally well for this recipe. Use a 1:1 ratio.
  • Blueberries: Fresh or frozen blueberries work well for this air fryer blueberry cobbler. Frozen berries create a juicier filling, which I prefer for this recipe. Use whichever type you have on hand!
  • Use frozen fruit. Frozen fruit releases more juice as it cooks, so you'll have a juicer, more delicious filling than fresh fruit.
  • Check the cobbler after about 10 minutes. You don't want to burn the top of this easy air fryer dessert, so you'll need to remove the air fryer basket to check it at 10 minutes. If the top is turning golden brown too quickly, cover it with foil for the remaining bake time.
  • Check for doneness. The cobbler is ready to eat when the dough is cooked through fully. You can check the doneness by carefully lifting the topping with a fork and checking for doneness underneath.
  • Sprinkle extra sugar on top. If you prefer an extra crispy topping, sprinkle a spoonful of sugar on top of the blueberry air fryer cobbler.
