Ingredients & Substitutions
- Chicken Breast: You can use leftover chicken breast or rotisserie chicken. If you are making fresh chicken, you will need about 2 small raw boneless skinless chicken breasts. Season lightly with salt and pepper and steam or bake. Shred and measure out 1 1/2 – 2 cups of chicken. It is important to measure the chicken once cooked because breasts vary in size significantly.
- Pepper Jack: I like the extra kick the pepper jack adds. You can also use cheddar or monterey jack cheese.

Recipe FAQs
It is typically made of chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and ranch/sour cream.
Reheat in an air fryer safe dish at 400 degrees covered until heated through. The time will vary depending on the amount you are reheating. It can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes. However, I recommend reheating in the microwave. It is much faster and will not dry out.
Too much sour cream or not enough chicken was added. This will cause the dip to have excess moisture.
